Seven Years Is Not Justice

I reported the man who sexually abused me when I was four years old. Seven years later, the investigation is still “ongoing.” Five years into my civil claim, I’m no closer to justice — just more traumatised, more exhausted, and more furious at a system that protects perpetrators better than it protects survivors.
